Carbon cold drawn steels
What kind of carbon steels does AUSA work with?
AUSA works with the following grades of carbon cold drawn steels. The properties, applications, chemical composition, equivalent standards, profiles and applications vary depending on the grade chosen.
Steels containing carbon between 0,10 – 0,47 % with tensile strengths of between 450-820 N/mm2 after cold drawing.
Their wear resistance is low.
Weldable depending on the carbon content.
Their most common applications are for agricultural machinery, sleeves, screws, washers, chains, connection rods, rivets, bolts, pipes and metallic structures.
